CANADA: The Body Shop International plc, Littlehampton, UK, has purchased its head franchisee in Canada for $26 million. Body Shop Canada operates 111 stores, including 69 owned by franchisees. Body Shop executives said the acquisition provides a solid platform to further develop business in Canada. The head office will remain in Toronto.
